how we can work together
01
intuitive eating coaching
If you’re trying to ditch the diet cycle, recover from disordered eating, or are looking to add to your eating disorder recovery team*, I would love to work with you. We’ll break down the diet culture b.s. and set you up with the tools you need to heal your relationship with food and to feel at home in your body.
*Although I cannot replace a doctor, dietitian, or therapist, I would love to be a part of your team!
03
eating disorder therapy
I believe that full eating disorder recovery is possible, and everyone has the wisdom in them to find full recovery and to live a full life. Together we will get to the root of and process the messages you learned about food and your body, unlearn the diet culture b.s, and create your unique path to healing.
04
adhd* therapy
If you suffer from “chronic overwhelm,” struggle to remember and complete tasks, and feel like you’re missing something that everyone else seems to have figured out, you’re not alone. We will work together to come up with ways to work with your brain, instead of against it - you are not broken!
*You do not need to be formally diagnosed with ADHD to work with me
the way you were told you “should” be is a lie.
Our culture values thinness, productivity, self-control, and so many other things that might not come naturally to you. Here’s the thing: it’s society and those expectations that are broken, not you.
If you’re living your life trying desperately to fit in with everyone around you and it’s only causing you more pain, I’m inviting you to stop. You have full permission to reject the ways diet culture told you “should” be.
I know that’s way easier said than done, which is why I’m here to help. It’s possible to let go of all the expectations you put on yourself and live a full, authentic life.
my philosophy:
I take a Health at Every Size (HAES) approach to wellbeing with clients. If this is your first time hearing about it, watch the video below for a brief, fun, and informative explanation!
a little about me:
Hi! I’m Lauren (she/her), a queer neurodivergent therapist and intuitive eating coach who supports individuals who want to break free from the rules of life they were told they “should” follow.
I’ve been there - I lived my life based on how I thought I was “supposed” to. All I wanted was to be able to achieve being the most desireable, productive, and “good” person in any room. I realized quickly how not only impossible that is, but also how miserable that is. Although my journey and my story will be different from yours, I’m here to help you ditch the “shoulds” and live a life that you can actually, well, live.
